Art Exhibit following concert
The Artist
Trish Jones is a self-taught artist with a painterly style. The majority of her works are painted with acrylic paints on a cradled wooden canvas. Her early works were folk art creations created for her own home and her painting style has retained a folk art vibe.
Trish holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech and is a lifelong Southerner. Having lived in several small towns, she collectively credits her rural roots as the muse for her art.
Trish is keenly aware that God has given her an artistic gift to share with others. In 2018, she turned her part-time painting into a daily practice.
She and her husband Rob have 3 grown kids and live with their Labrador Retriever in their home on the marsh in Northeast Florida.

In addition to its outstanding concerts and educational outreach programs, BFAS also presents an art exhibition from a regional visual artist at each home concert.
Works are showcased at the concert and at the reception following each concert. Concert attendees are able to meet the artists at the reception. The exhibition remains in place for several weeks and works are available for purchase.
