Planned Giving Made Easy

SUPPORT BFAS IN THE FUTURE

Supporting BFAS,

now and in the future.

Leave a planned Gift in your will

Gifts by will are one of BFAS’ most important sources of support. Unrestricted gifts give us the greatest flexibility to use funds where they are most needed.

You may leave BFAS:

  • A stated dollar amount
  • A percentage of your residual estate (what remains after gifts to loved ones and expenses have been paid)

How to name BFAS in your will

This sample language may be useful:

“I give and bequeath to Beaches Fine Arts Series, Inc., 1150 5th Street N., Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 [the sum of __________ Dollars ($____)] [ _______ % of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate], to be used for its general charitable purposes.”

Notifying BFAS of your gift

We hope you’ll let us know when you have named BFAS in your will or trust so that we can thank you and include you in our Legacy Society.

Name BFAS as a beneficiary

Naming Beaches Fine Arts Series as a beneficiary on your retirement account or life insurance policy is a simple and powerful way to support the lifesaving work of our organization without changing your will or living trust. Beneficiary designation gifts pass directly to BFAS without going through the probate process and go right to work to help us present exceptional, free concerts and educational outreach.

Many of our donors name BFAS as a beneficiary of all or a specified percentage of their IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or other retirement plan.

Individuals who inherit retirement plan assets are usually required to pay income tax on them, so they’re often considered among the best assets to leave to charity.

How to name BFAS as a beneficiary on your retirement accounts
