CONCERT FEATURING VOCES8

The Artist

Vivien Wright Zink is a figurative and abstract artist who works in a variety of graphic and painting media, drawing from spirit, life and nature.

Born in England, she is a graduate of Manchester Art college (foundation year), the University of Newcastleupon-Tyne (BAHons Fine Art), and Goldsmiths college at London University (art education).

A significant grounding of the Newcastle Fine Art Department was the encouragement and guidance of artists and scholars such as Kenneth Rowntree and Sir Lawrence Gowing, with prior formative professorships of Richard Hamilton and Victor Pasmore.

She has worked as an in-house draftsperson and artist for architects, an art teacher in London, Yorkshire and Washington DC, and independently on commissions.

While supporting her family’s growing years, she continued to be creative artistically and engaged with her loved ones and church, volunteered, and familiarized elementary students with art and sculpture reproductions from the Duval County Art Resource Center.

Vocally she has been or is in a church choir, Masterworks Chorale, the Symphony Chorus, and the St. John’s Consort.

She is a Stephen minister, currently expanding her art output for charity, and very grateful for this opportunity to exhibit.
