Next up on our 47th season is fabulous jazz trumpeter, Wycliffe Gordon, in “Hello Pops! A Tribute to Louis Armstrong” on March 5!
This annual collaboration with the UNF Great American Jazz Series, the Jazz Studies Program, and the School of Music brings together the UNF Jazz Ensemble 1 with famed professional musicians from the jazz world. Mr. Gordon is a renowned performer, composer, arranger, band leader, and educator who will work with the UNF Jazz Ensemble 1 in a weeklong residency prior to the concert on THURSDAY, March 5 at the Robinson Theater in the UNF Fine Arts Center. This free concert begins at 7:30 pm, with doors open at 7:00 pm.
