ETHEL & Robert Mirabal

Beaches Fine Arts Series is proud to present a free virtual educational program, featuring string quartet ETHEL with Grammy-winning Native American flutist Robert Mirabal.

Prior to COVID 19, the ensemble was scheduled to perform “The River” live in November at the Timucuan Preserve in collaboration with the National Park Service, sharing Native American music to students in Duval County. The new date for this outstanding presentation is May 14 and we hope you can join us. We will be sending out reservation information regarding that presentation in the spring.

In the meantime, this video introduces the performers, their instruments, and the environs of Taos Pueblo, New Mexico, with an immersion in a flow of Native American music, narrative, poetry, and ritual, blended with contemporary musical artistry.

In order to access the program, please sign up here on our educational outreach page, and we will send you the YouTube link! Enjoy!
