Lucy Chen is chair of the music department at Edward Waters College, and founder of the Keys on Parade group piano program for children. In the past, she has taught Class Piano at Boston University and the University of Florida, as well as at the Yamaha Corporate Music School of Boston. Recently, Ms. Chen was selected by the John F. Kennedy Center’s Any Given Child Program and the Cultural Council of Jacksonville to be one of four resident artists in the Lift Every Child Initiative, an arts and science integrated program. As a performer, Ms. Chen made her concert debut in 2014 at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall. Other highlights include performances at the Oberlin Conservatory, the Liszt Bicentennial Celebration at the Boston Tsai Performance Center, and the Spring of Shanghai concert series at the He Lu Ding Concert Hall in Shanghai. Ms. Chen received her Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance from Boston University.
